Michael Maloney
BAgrSc, M.A.C.A, MIPAV.
Michael is the Senior Agricultural Consultant/Advisor and Agronomist in the firm. He graduated from University College Dublin in 1995, with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Agricultural Science. Michael also graduated from University College Galway with a Certificate in Auctioneering and Estate Agency. Michael is also a farm advisory service (FAS) approved advisor, GLAS advisor and GLAS commonage advisor. Michael’s years of professional experience in agriculture includes advisory roles for Lakeland Dairies and Teagasc and he is also an active member of the Agricultural Consultants Association (ACA). Michael spent 4 years on the ACA Council and acted as Secretary for 2 of those years. Michael Maloney and Associates was established in 2001 and has provided Agricultural and Agronomy services to clients over 23 years. The Company now has a client base of 400+ clients.
Graham Corish
BAgrSc Animal and Crop Production
Graham Corish joined Michael Maloney & Associates in 2023. He graduated from UCD in 2009 with a BAGRSC: Animal and Crop Production and from UCD in 2014 with a professional Diploma in Dairy Farm Management. Graham is an FAS approved and ACRES approved advisor. Graham is originally from Wexford where his passion for Agriculture began.
Graham assists in the implementation of all schemes and facilitates the transfer of scheme information to our clients.
Eleanor Lavin
BSc(Hons) in Agriculture
Eleanor graduated from ATU Donegal in October 2023 with a First Class honours in Agriculture (Animal and Crop science). She has been interested in farming from a young age. Eleanor grew up on a mixed farm consisting of sporthorses and an Aberdeen Angus suckler herd. She enjoys showjumping and competing at regional and national level, as well as producing young horses.
After finishing college Eleanor then became an FAS and an Acres approved advisor. Her role within the company varies depending on the time of year. She deals with all the Department of Agricultural schemes on behalf of our clientele.
Throughout college Eleanor was very lucky to have obtained invaluable work experience. She has worked on a dairy farm and then Aurivo Dairy Ingredients when She witnessed the full farm to factory cycle. In Aurivo Eleanor worked in the bacterial lab, testing the processed butter and milk powder ensuring the products were of a high standard.
Joe Monaghan
BBS (Hons) in Agricultural Business and Rural Enterprise
Joe Monaghan BBS(Hons) in Agricultural Business and Rural Enterprise.
Joe graduated from ATU Galway in October 2018 with a Second Class Honours in Agriculture. He has a keen interest in farming from a young age. Joe grew up on a Sheep Farm enterprise based in Belmullet, Co. Mayo. He currently has a farm of over 100 lowland ewes, consisting of Hilltexs, Charolais, Texels and Mayo Mountain ewes. In his spare time, Joe enjoys watching rugby, GAA and soccer.
He deals with all the Department of Agriculture schemes such as ACRES, BISS, CRISS, ANC, ECO and BISS Entitlements on behalf of our clientele.
